Pulp, the legendary Britpop group led by Jarvis Cocker, hit stages in North America last year for the first time in more than a decade.
Fans gave the concerts rave reviews, including the handful of new songs the group debuted during those shows. Now, all the common people who missed out will get a chance to make up for lost time.
Pulp has announced a run of shows across North America, including a stop at The Armory in Minneapolis on Sept. 20. According to a fan-run archive of Pulp concerts, it'll be the first time the band plays a show in Minnesota since headlining First Avenue in 1996.
Cocker and co. aren't just hitting the road for a run of nostalgia-laced performances. The new songs performed last year were a taste of the band's first new album in almost 25 years. The band is releasing a reunion album, More, in June and has already shared the first single, "Spike Island," which has them sounding like they're still at the top of their game.
The group had already announced a couple of headlining shows with LCD Soundsystem at the Hollywood Bowl, but Tuesday's announcement adds nine dates across the U.S. and Canada leading up to the two-night stand in L.A.
An artist presale will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23. Then, tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25.
